Continuing on the theme from the last two months, this month I bring you Copper Range #60. An M-1 American 2-6-0 delivered in November 1907 and retired in July 1935. (Kevin Musser Collection)
Great stuff, Kevin!!!! Thank you for all the steam photos, please please please keep them coming!
That's an excellent photo of #60, Kevin! For future months, if you have a nice'n of #29 to show, that'd be neat. My wife did a very nice watercolor painting of #29 and sold the original at an auction for the local shelter, but wants to make prints of it (the buyer loaned it back to her), so I offered to do more documentation on it (found a bit but not many good photos). Thanks--keep up the good work!
Frank, Would love to see the print when you get it done! Are you going to be selling the prints and if so, how much?
Brad, yes we intend to sell the prints. We're still working on finding a good way of getting quality prints made without having to get into lithographs. First attempt was pretty frustrating, but we're still looking... :-( No idea on pricing yet as it'll depend on the cost of printmaking.
Would not want to disappoint anyone and I would sure like to see my builder's photo of #29 in watercolor. Hang on Brad there is another one coming up in July, must be #29.
